Michael and I met in 2014 at Indiana Wesleyan, but didn't become friends until 2015. As a junior, my friends gave me a pretty hard time for spending so much time with a freshman. Our favorite place to hang out was an IWU billboard alongside of I-69 that required somewhat reckless climbing.
I thought we were just friends until circa 2016 when Michael hit me with an "I love you." I was obviously very confused but knew he'd become one of my best friends, and we became official soon after.
7 different apartments and 6 years later, Michael moved to Indy (because Indiana is the best state in the union), and asked me to marry him in May on my front porch in Indy. Because Michael is such a big ol trickster, I definitely thought he was kidding, and the first words out of my mouth were: "Are you serious? Is this a joke?" shortly followed by an excited "Yes!" after I made him redo the whole proposal.
We don't post much, so here's some favorite pictures of us over the years.
