Kerrytown is a charming area to explore, filled with local shops, cafés, and the beloved Ann Arbor Farmers Market. It’s a wonderful spot to spend a Sunday morning. A couple of our personal favorites in Kerrytown: Michael loves the fresh Cajun fries from Sparrow Market, and Ki’Re never misses a stop at the Spice & Tea shop upstairs.
We recommend spending some time on State Street, a vibrant downtown stretch filled with local boutiques, coffee shops, and restaurants just steps from the University of Michigan campus.
If you’re visiting with little ones, the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum is a great place to spend an afternoon exploring interactive exhibits together.
For those who would like to attend, please join us at church on September 19th. Service begins at 11:00 AM.
For the best donuts and ice cream, we highly recommend stopping by Washtenaw Dairy, a local favorite in Ann Arbor!
Depot Town is one of the most charming areas of Ypsilanti, filled with local shops, cafés, and restaurants along the river. It’s a wonderful place to stroll and explore.
For guests wishing to explore during your visit, Downtown Detroit offers a beautiful mix of culture, history, and waterfront views. Enjoy strolling along the scenic riverfront while viewing Canada just across the water — a uniquely Detroit experience — or spend time at Campus Martius Park, the heart of the city and a lovely place to relax and take in the atmosphere. Art lovers may enjoy the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA), and music enthusiasts can visit the iconic Motown Museum. For brunch, our favorite spot is Babo Detroit — a cozy and charming place we love. Located just 40 minutes from Ypsilanti, Downtown Detroit is well worth the drive and makes for a lovely outing during your stay.
