Kim and Michael met during the pandemic while they were both living in Santa Barbara. Albeit a brief encounter at first, Michael was enamored with Kim's radiant personality while Kim was impressed that a guys bathroom was kept really clean and had pink towels. With no numbers exchanged, the two relied on fate for when they would meet again. Luckily, that didn't take long as Kim and Michael both went separately to support a friends outdoor concert. While they arrived with their respective friends, they soon found themselves conversing the entire show. This was enough for Michael to finally gain the courage to ask Kim on their first date. He texted, "Would you be down to get some coffee with me this weekend?" to which she responded "I don't like coffee." Michael was downtrodden, thinking he blew his chance. But then, Kim followed up with a brief and sweet "but I love ice cream." And so, with that first date starting at Mission Street Ice Cream and ending at the bluffs of Shoreline Park, their love blossomed. Kim and Michael have shared over 5 years together of laughter, adventures, family, friendships, moving states, dog parenting, crosswords, an intense rivalry over any board game they play, that one time Kim's car window got smashed in, that other time Michael's laptops got stolen by the moving company, sketchy stick-shift driving through Costa Rica, Kim surviving Michael teaching her to snowboard, getting scammed by a taxi driver in Bombay, remodeling a home, and just plain loving each other. They consider each other soul mates, and couldn't be more excited to share this moment you.
