Once Upon a Time...

We matched with each other on Tinder. Kelsey messaged Michael first responding to a challenge on his profile betting a motorcycle that he could be anyone at Monopoly.

Our first date was the first time we met in person. Michael picked up Kelsey at her house on his first Friday night off in a long time. After dinner at Yard House where Kelsey ate mac and cheese, we walked around Birch street and bought candy from Home Goods. Michael was the perfect gentleman, offering his jacket and walking on the outside of the sidewalk. We went to see Deadpool, which has been one of our go-to movies ever since.

After meeting, it was clear that we had chemistry. Many days of hanging out, a friendly competition ensued. This included battles of laser-tag, Monopoly, Settlers of Catan, and Mariokart. While Michael was clearly superior at laser-tag, Kelsey destroys at all things Mariokart. One day at the restaurant Senor Campos, Michael asked to make the relationship official and exclusive.

After many months of discussion and a wedding date already set, Michael asked Kelsey to reserve the evening for a date. Kelsey took the (more than obvious hint) and made sure to be dressed up with her nails done. We went back to Senor Campos, where Michael first asked Kelsey to be his girlfriend. After eating, Michael got down on one knee in the middle of the restaurant.
