Maid of Honor
Taylor and I as friends truly is the definition of opposites attract. I would wake up to get ready for work and Taylor would be coming home from a great night out. Our paths crossed unexpectedly! Since I met Taylor she has always been the most hard-working person I know. She accomplishes anything she sets her mind to. I really admire her drive and motivation. She helped Michael and I find our first home. She was the first person I told when Mike popped the question. I have never seen someone grow as much as she has in the last few years. She has become such a strong, independent woman with a positive outlook on life. I know her future is bound to be bright!
Best Man
David and I were coworkers before we even knew we were friends. The CEC lounge molded what would become one of the most influential friends I have. We have known each other since high school and even when life gets in the way, I always know I can count on David. Our shenanigans have certainly gotten us in our fair share of trouble but we always find a way to make it right. You have encouraged me to chase dreams I never thought were possible and have found ways to make those dreams come true. I would not be anywhere near where I am today without you and I couldn't imagine having anyone else next to me on this next monumental achievement.
Bridesmaid
Chloe and I known each other since 5 years old. Our paths crossed on Baker Trail and were inseparable. We would ride four-wheedlers, eating tombstone pizza, sleep overs every other weekend, and more. Her family became my family. She has always had a love for animals and now has her own little zoo at her house. She adores anything with four legs and fur. Chloe has been part of many milestones in my life and always have been there with love and support. From growing up in Minnesota to now living our adult life here in Arizona. I have watched Chloe grow up to become a beautiful young woman and soon to be a Mrs. herself. I am so proud of who she is today and all she has accomplished. She has such a love for life and adventure.
Groomsman
Another high school friend that has stayed with me through thick and thin. It started with watching "the price is right" and eating ramen noodles during woodshop class and now we find ourselves "mostly" being adults. He has helped me find joy in any situation and always been a great person to have a beer with...or 20. We have spent plenty of long days and nights building cabinets and laughing at each others inappropriate jokes. I was honored to be a part of his wedding and I'm privileged to have him join me for mine.
Bridesmaid
Kristin is my soon to be sister-in-law, loving mother of two, amazing wife, and just an overall incredible human being. There are a few women in my life I strive to be like and she definitely is one of them. From the first day I met her she welcomed me into her home with open arms, a loving heart, and a drink. Kristin is the most selfless person I have ever met. She always has her door open for anyone who needs it and hosts every family holiday. She has a gift of making you feel so loved whenever you are around her. She is always up for a challenge and is extremely competitive; prepared to be a winner if you are ever on her team.
Groomswoman
Not your traditional groomsman but I wouldn't have it any other way. Kim is the other part of the high school woodshop crew. She is the much needed calming voice in my life but still find her way into some of the wild ideas that sound so good at the time. I can't say enough how appreciative I am of our long days playing video games, eating chipotle and talking life. You may have me beat at golden eye but I will always have your number in mario kart. My life wouldn't be the same without you in it.
Bridesmaid
Katie is my soon to be soon to be sister-in-law. She has been the sweetest person since I met her. I will never forget the Christmas when I showed her my copy of her Mini Mouse she drew. Since then, it has been a guessing game of what I am drawing. Katie has an eye of finding the positive side in any situation, she lights up the room with her smile and can make any outfit look incredible. Katie loves seeing her friends and family succeed and will always be your number one cheerleader. She has a heart of gold and we both hope one day we can co-parent an alpaca together.
Groomsman
A short friendship that does not lack quality time and moments. Jacob and I were hired onto our ems division at the same time and both had aspirations of becoming firefighters. Somehow we made it from practicing interview questions at 3am in the medic ride on the way back from a call to making it through a regional academy together. He's been a great influence on my time with the fire service and an equally great friend outside of it. I'm glad the wedding is on a Friday so no one will have to deal with Monday Tuersch. I'm excited to have you a part of this day and excited to see where our careers take us and how our friendship grows through it all.
Bridesmaid
One of my first words I ever said to Madison was “you look awkward holding a baby”. She was a sweet, shy 17-year-old girl starting her first job at The Special Place Daycare. She is an old soul and has gift of listening and understanding others. What I admire most about her is she is always willing to speak up for whatever she believes in. Madison became a little sister to me that I always wanted. I have had the privilege of being part of some milestones in her life since we met. I can't wait to see what path she takes with her life but whatever it is it will only be something she is fully passionate about.
Groomsman
Kalonn is another example of an influential person I have met through work. It started with me bugging him at his valet stand and morphed into long nights of football and call of duty. Kalonn is the reason that Kelia and I ever even met and has helped us grow our relationship to where we are today. We have had plenty of adventures together, usually fueled by too much alcohol, and I feel we have plenty more to come. You have set the example for what it takes to be a champion and are never afraid to go against the popular opinion to make the hard picks. Your support and honesty have helped me get to where I am today and I'm very excited to have you a part of this special day.
Officiant
Jason is a classic example of a funny, late night idea growing into a serious situation. Kelia and I ran with the idea of Jason being our officiant and we wouldn't have it any other way. He was watched as our relationship started, grew and sputtered, then eventually re-ignited into where we are today. He has always been kind and caring, patient and non-judgemental. He is never afraid to stick up for what is right, especially when Mike and Kristin get on a roll making fun of Kelia (mostly for her drawing skills). He is a man of faith and we know his words will carry us through any situation we may face.
