While Murrieta is a quieter town, there are some lovely nearby spots worth exploring. Just a short drive from Murrieta and the wedding venue is Old Town Temecula - a charming, western-style street lined with great restaurants, small shops, craft breweries, and the best little ice cream stops. It’s a perfect place to stroll, grab a bite, or enjoy a relaxed afternoon between events. Temecula is also known for its beautiful local wineries, many of which offer tastings, vineyards views, and peaceful outdoor patios. If you’re looking to unwind, sip wine, or enjoy a scenic moment before the wedding celebrations, it’s a wonderful option.
Oceanside has been home for Michael for the past eight years - a cozy, coastal town where he built his routine and found a sense of calm and familiarity. After the wedding, Michael and Keiry will be starting their life together in a sweet little apartment just a few blocks from the beach and the Oceanside Pier. They couldn’t be more excited to call this place home. Oceanside also inspired the theme of the wedding. It’s where Michael and Keiry have shared countless memories - slow evening walks, pastel-colored sunsets, and moments that made them fall in love with both the town and each other. The soft tones, gentle coastal colors, and relaxed elegance of Oceanside are woven into the celebration as a reflection of the life they’re building together. Explore this area and meet up with Keiry and Michael if time permits.
Keiry spent her college years in San Diego - earning her bachelor’s degree from SDSU and her master’s from PLNU. During that time, she built lifelong friendships, found community, and discovered so many amazing places across the city. If you’re visiting from out of town and would like to explore during your stay, she has plenty of recommendations for fun spots, beautiful views, and local favorites to enjoy while you’re here.
