So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.

Michael and I went to middle school together. I always thought he was very cute but I was way too shy at the time to approach him about it. We lost track of each other over the years until Michael asked a mutual friend about my whereabouts. Mike and I started to have long conversations on my way home from work. I actually asked him out on our first date, which I was late to because I fell asleep on the couch (cut me some slack, I'm in emergency medicine). From there, we spent a lot of late nights talking to each other about our past, present and future. We officially started dating July 19th, 2023. Our morals and family orientated mindset is what drew us closer together. Michael has two beautiful children which I have been blessed to help love and care for. It's been a really fun journey so far. Everyday is a new experience to get to know each other more. Our goals for the future include having more children and eventually starting our own organic farm. We thank God everyday for crossing our paths again. Ecclesiastes 3:1 states, "For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven." God was preparing both of our hearts for each other and His timing is always perfect!
