We’re Getting Married!

We met how most millennial couples meet these days, online! Michael first reached out asking if I got a lot of free food from running a food blog. Our first date was at a local restaurant in Berkley, Michigan, and we still try to go back at least once a year to relive the magic. Our first date ended with a wave and a thought that I was never going to call him again. I took the chance though and we went on our second date. We spent those first few weeks talking for hours, literally, our dates were almost 12 hours long. Michael and I moved pretty quickly into a relationship after that, as both of our families will attest too. We decided to buy our first home in Wyandotte, a town I had never been too! Of course we bought a 100 year old home and are learning to ropes of home ownership! We have had our ups and downs like most couples. Losing my aunt in November of 2017 was a real turning point in our relationship. Having a shoulder to cry on and someone to lean on made me see Michael in a different light. We cannot wait to share in our special day with you. You are all so important to us and we love you! Thank you for your continued support of us as a couple! -Michael and Katy
