Renting a car is completely optional! The venue is 28 miles from the airport and can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. Otherwise Uber and Lyft are great options. There is also the Coaster Commuter Rail that runs north and south between Oceanside and downtown San Diego. It provides 20-30 daily trips all days of the week, year-round. The closest Coaster stops to the venue are in Encinitas (6 miles away) and Solana Beach (6 miles away).

We’ve used Turo multiple times and have always had great experiences. The process is quick, simple, and often more affordable than traditional airport rental companies, so it’s definitely worth comparing both options when booking your trip!
