Question

"What should I wear?"

Answer

Casual dress! Khaki shorts, polos/button downs, and sundresses. Shoes are optional.

Question

"What time should I be at the ceremony?"

Answer

The wedding starts at 6:30PM on Saturday. With that being said, it would be appreciated that everyone arrive 10-15 mins early. When you park, you are more than welcome to come down to the beach and take a seat and/or mingle with the other guests until we begin. (If you have any questions as to where you should sit, please look for Tracey (wedding director) or one of the groomsmen.)

Question

"How far away is Ocean Isle Beach from Sunset Beach?"

Answer

13 minutes away.

Question

"What's the address for the wedding?"

Answer

44 E 1st St, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469 https://www.oibgov.com/

Question

"Where is the reception being held?"

Answer

123 Forest Walk SW, Sunset Beach, NC, 28468 The reception is being held at Kate's Mother and Stepfather's home in Sea Trail in Sunset Beach. It will be a BBQ style evening with our closest family and friends.

Question

"What happens if it rains?"

Answer

Have no fear! We have a backup plan. Due to the wedding venue, we will have to be flexible. For some reason, if a pop up shower happens, our wedding director, has let us know that she can move the wedding up or back if necessary on Saturday. We will be in constant contact with everyone and trying to do the best we can with communication. If it is still raining for the reception, we will have a "drop in reception" and take it as it comes. We are watching the weather carefully and we appreciate everyone's patience and grace during this process.

Question

Will COVID-19 restrictions keep us from celebrating together?

Answer

We have spoken with our wedding planner and she has assured us that the wedding will go on as planned. The reception is being held at the bride's Mother and Step Father's home. It is not a public place, so there will be no issues with everyone being there to celebrate. If someone is uncomfortable making the trip, we understand. Everyone has to do what they feel is best for them during COVID-19.

Question

Are face-masks required for the wedding or reception?

Answer

This is not something that either of us feel is necessary to make mandatory. We want everyone to feel comfortable and do what they need to do for themselves.
