Robin and I met a solid 29 and a half years ago, but I am not sure if that counts for how long I have known her or how long she has known me because I was just born! Either way, she is the greatest sister that I could grow up with, even if she kept (and keeps) moving away from me. Robin and I have always had great adventures together, and we love getting ourselves into trouble. One time, she, my brother, and my sister-in-law were picking up Robin's wife from the airport, and we were on roads we did not know. Then we hit a toll road that only took coins, but we did not have any. Nobody was on the road, so we hopped out and searched the road for coins. We tried to see who could find the most, and I have no idea who won, but we found enough money to cross that road. Understandably so, our mother hates that story because it was "unsafe", but that is just what happens when we all get together. This is just one story of way too many Robin and I have together, but some other cool things are she has shown me the coolest nail spa, brought me out of my comfort zone at a Korean Day Spa, stays up way too late with me every time I'm with her, and always knows how to make me laugh. I am so happy to have her stand right by my side on one of my most special days!
Best Man
I have known Cole for a long time. I was friends with kids that were friends with his brother, so I would see Cole at those get-togethers, every now and then, but I wouldn't say we really started being friends until the 5th grade. Being a "Yadon" and a "Uranga" meant always being the last name on all alphabetical order lists. During our little league baseball tryouts, we were the last to go, and while we waited, we bonded over a new video game that Cole hadn't beaten yet, and I offered to come over and beat the last level for him. That night I went over to his house and ever since then we have been best friends. I have pretty much everything in common with Cole making it easy to remain as close as we are, even after he moved away to Washington. Even though we go long periods of time without seeing each other, we still always make time in our busy lives to reconnect while playing our favorite game from high school.

The day I asked my brother, Karl, "Are you two boyfriend and girlfriend" I solidified giving myself a new best friend that could never get rid of me! I like to think I am the reason they became official by starting that conversation between them. I was only 15 when I first met Nicole, and one thing that really drew me towards loving her was how loving she was towards me, and how she helped my brother and me become closer. I was the bratty annoying teen, but Nicole always included me in fun activities with her and Karl. She and Karl taught me how to like scary movies, and even if it took a long while, I now am addicted, and to this day we have scary movie nights! Nicole is one of the kindest and most caring people I know, only making me cry once (and I cry at everything). I am so glad my brother found her and I get to call her not only my sister-in-law but also my friend!

I have known Bryan since my Freshman year of high school. I looked up to him and thought of him as the cool kid in high school because he was doing modeling as a junior. He was friends with Daniel's brother, and Cole knew him through that. We first met one night during Christmas break when I randomly joined Cole’s chat room on Xbox, and Cole and Bryan were playing Halo together. They invited me to play with them, and we made up a team called the "Christmas Trees" since it was almost Christmas. Since that night, I became fast friends with Bryan, going on to be doubles partners in high school tennis, joining the same fraternity, and then becoming roommates for a couple of years, before I moved out to live with Kaley.

Alex and I met in my 3rd year at college and quickly became best friends. However, the story of how we got there is unconventional. Long story short, I decided she and I HAD to be friends so that she wouldn't steal my other best friend. My solution was to make us all 3 best friends. Obviously having her as a best friend worked, and when I say it is one of the best decisions I have ever made, I mean it. Alex has been there with me through thick and thin, she has been my crutch keeping me going through all of my rough patches, and is there with me for the amazing and fun events in my life. We went through our ASL interpreting program together, got our BA degrees together, worked out together, and she became family to me. Other than my parents and Michael, I do not think anyone knows me just as well as she does. She knows exactly what I like, don't like, how to make me smile, cheer me up, and has never given up on me. She is the best friend I never knew I could have! Even living almost 3,000 miles away, we talk every day and I cannot imagine what it would be like to not have her in my life. Alex is my sister at heart, she is family to me and I am so grateful to have met her, to call her my best friend, and have her stand on my line on the most special day!

Zack is somebody that I’ve known for a long time. His family would go with our family on camping trips with a bunch of family friends. It wasn’t until high school that we became really good friends, and he started hanging out with my high school group. Zack was always the friend that I could count on whenever I wanted to go out and eat, often joining me to get breakfast - a tradition we still continue anytime he is in town. The funnest years of my Bachelor life were spent at my house in Sacramento, where Zack, along with Bryan, was one of my roommates.

If you know me, you know I am extremely sarcastic, and it gets me into trouble a lot actually, and it definitely is not a good idea to use sarcasm on people that don't know you - ask Kami! Kami and I met at Sac State while both in ASL classes. After class one day, Kami was talking to her friends about doing something later that day or night, and {not knowing them at all} I jokingly said, "thanks for the invite" or something similar. Kami, not knowing me or my humor, thought it was so weird for a stranger to act like they wanted to be invited to something. Thank goodness this did not turn her off from me too much, and later when we found out we had mutual friends, she put that awkward first meeting in the back of her head and opened up to get to know the real me. 6 years later, we are closer than ever, she understands my weird humor, and I get to call her one of my best friends. Kami and I are extremely similar in so many ways and are able to talk about anything. I love how I can go to her with any problem and she will do whatever she can to help me through it. I have so much fun with her whenever I see her, but one thing I love most is from when I was living in Pleasanton and we would be both bored and tired, but still, hang out, just to watch TV and end up napping. Kami is one of the best people I know with a huge heart that I can never match, but she makes me a better person and I am so lucky and grateful to have her in my life and so happy to call her my best friend!

Daniel is a friend that I met through Cole. We weren’t close until my friend group started playing an online computer game. While playing that game, Cole decided to prank Daniel by deleting all of his character's stuff, but then blamed me. It wasn’t until I proved that Cole was to blame for that incident, that we started to become closer friends. Living right down the street from each other, I would be at his house all the time in High school. My favorite memories with Daniel were the trips we would take on foot to the local 7/11 to pass the time.

When I was 13, I experienced something many 13-year-olds don't get to experience, and that was becoming an aunt. It was such an exciting time for me because I was the youngest of 3 children so I never really got to experience having a baby around or anyone younger than me that I would see regularly. Rylee was the cutest little girl, who loved to laugh, have fun, goof off, and the 4-year-old girl that memorized the whole "The Night Before Christmas" story and recited it multiple times. She was the girl that ate black licorice because my dad liked it and she wanted to eat it to be like him. This sweet little girl had everyone wrapped around her fingers. Now Rylee is 16 and while so much has changed, she is still the silly goofy Rylee that everyone loves to hang out with. As much as I wish we had always lived closer and I could have watched her mature into this young lady she is now, I am happy to still see her at least once a year, and keep in contact through our mutual love of TikTok!
Flower Girl
When Jocelynn and Amelia were born, I was a bit older, 19 and 21, so I was able to understand a little more what having a kid around meant. Jocelynn was very similar to Rylee in the sense, that she was very outgoing, loved running around and playing with others, and genuinely loved everyone, and everyone loved her! Of course when Amelia was born everyone loved her as well! Amelia though, on the other hand, was very quiet, more independent, and did well entertaining herself. Even at the young age of 3, she told her mom, that when she (her mom) went to work, that she (Amelia) would be fine at home and did not need to go to Grandad's house. I obviously knew Jocelynn and Amelia since birth, but Michael met them at ages 6 and 8. Everyone knew how much I loved them both, but who would have guessed how much they would love Michael, and how quickly he took them in as his own nieces. This was a new experience for Michael as he does not already have nieces or nephews, but it came so easily for him and he loved them right away. Jocelynn and Amelia love playing with Michael and he is so good with them and loves playing with them too.
Officiant
My aunt Marley is not only my aunt but also my God Mother which makes this such an honor to me to have her officiate my wedding, marrying my best friend Michael! She has always made it a point to be there for me on all the important days, and so I am glad she has a special role in my most special day of all.
