Katie and Michael's story began online, but it didn't take long for sparks to fly in real life. Brought together by a shared love for travel, photography, whisky, and trying new things, they quickly discovered how well their worlds fit together. Their first date was at a local coffee shop in Halifax called The Nook. This was the opposite of any first date - neither could stop talking! Michael and Katie connected so easily that three hours flew by, and Katie ended up running late for work, racing off to make her shift. From that moment, it was clear they had something special. After multiple dates and Nova Scotia adventures, Katie and Michael decided to embark on a three-week adventure across Europe-after only knowing each other for six months! This trip deepened their bond and confirmed the love they had found. Since then, life has been filled with travels near and far, countless hikes, delicious cuisine, cultural discoveries, and plenty of laughter! After moving in together during COVID, Katie and Michael have continued to build a life full of joy, adventure, and lasting memories with the company of their furry companions Schooner and Rowan.
