Mahala Kuehne

Maid of Honor

We played on the same college volleyball team and have been inseparable ever since. If I had a long lost sister- it would be Mahala. We have so much in common- including our love for Mike. Mahala loves science and has lived in Germany.

Shannon Edmonds

Bridesmaid

Shannon is the best older sister any girl could ask for. She brings out the best in me when we are together and she has given me four of the greatest gifts I could ever ask for- my nieces and nephew.

Amber McQueen

Bridesmaid

Amber and I have been friends since grade school. We grew up together playing on all the same soccer, basketball, volleyball and softball teams. My mom and her dad were even our coaches. It isn't often that two people grow up and still stay close friends. Every time Amber and I get together its like nothing has ever changed.

Sadie Jenks

Bridesmaid

I actually met Sadie two years ago when I first transferred to Multnomah. Sadie and I were both super shy at that time and didn't talk much. Once our basketball season started myself, Sadie and our friend Megan were the three musketeers always laughing and having a blast on the court, off the court and even in long van rides to and from games. During our last season at Multnomah, the men and women's basketball teams got stuck in this little town named, "La Grande" in Oregon and Sadie and I made the FUNNIEST videos about our time stuck in the hotel, our basketball van getting stuck in the snow and how we were so ready to get home to Portland. Sadie and I have made so many memories in the last couple years.

Girla Sorenson

Bridesmaid

One of my ride or dies. Girla made me feel so welcome and at home when I started going to Multnomah University. After we met we were the best of friends always doing something whether it was going to the Saturday Market, baking, cooking or getting picked on by Mike.

Mariah Sugiura

Bridesmaid

Mariah is the girl you call when you need answers. Her genuine personality makes her so easy to talk to about anything. Her and her husband have been an inspiration to Michael and I.

Christina Arellano

Bridesmaid

The grooms cousin- I am so thankful for you and your family welcoming me in with open arms. Christina is so much fun to be around and makes me laugh every time we are together.

Bobbie Lynn Collin

Bridesmaid

Bobbie Lynn and I met in kindergarten. We have been through so much together. It is such a blessing for her to be apart of my wedding and for me to be apart of hers.

Eddie Escobedo

Best Man

As my oldest brother I have always looked up to Eddie. He has always been there for me and supported me. I am honored to have him as my best man.

Anthony Escobedo

Groomsman

Anthony is my second older brother and someone else who I have always looked up. Over the years we have bonded through cars and laughter. Even though we have not shared the same roof for many years, we continue to stay in touch almost daily! I am excited to have him by my side when I say "I do!".

Tanner Hinek

Groomsman

Tanner has been one of my best friends since we went to elementary school together at Grover Heights. Growing up we played basketball and football together at every local park imaginable. We weren't even allowed to be on the same basketball team in the 5-Cities Youth Basketball League! We were roommates at MidAmerica Nazarene University in Kansas for a year, where we became even closer. I am very thankful to have such an honest, trustworthy and funny best friend in T-Bone!

Isaac Cano

Groomsman

Isaac has been very close friend of mine since middle school. At Judkins we became amigos at lunch and breaks. We played on the basketball team there together and he tried to teach me to breakdance! We worked on cars together and bonded over tattoos, and weight lifting also. Isaac, Angel and I have laughed so hard our mouths and chests hurt. It will be great to have Isaac up there with me on my big day.

Justin "Bubba" Helmer

Groomsman

Bubba was the white guy in the family picture hanging above the sofa in my house growing up. Known to family and friends of the family as "the milk man", Bubba has always been a brother to me. Growing up we shared common interests in cars, sports, style and music. He was one of my football coaches when I played youth football. Bubba is an amazing and talented person who I have been blessed to know. It will be so amazing reuniting after nearly ten years.

Angel Munoz

Groomsman

Angel and I became close when we met in middle school. Lunch and breaks were times of comical relief for us middle schoolers. Our friendship grew as we reached high school and encountered many memorable experiences together. We danced in dance company together at AGHS and played JV football together also after I finally convinced him. Angel is one of the funniest guys I know and his sense of humor always brightens my day.

Kepley Morris

Groomsman

Kepley is probably my one friend that goes way back. As far as I remember we have been friends. He was at the house all the time growing up and when he wasn't, I was at his. He lived down the road and we were always hanging out. Riding bikes, building ponds, or playing smear the queer, we never wasted time. We grew our friendship all through the years and even though he lives In Louisiana now, we have still remained close. I am thankful Kepley has been such a loyal and everlasting friend.

Christian Cisneros

Groomsman

Christian is another friend that I met at grover heights. His father was our basketball coach growing up and I actually lived with them for a year in 2012. He lives down the street as kid also. We would ride bikes and play basketball into the dark. Eating his mom's homemade rice krispies and camping at Lopez are experiences I will always remember. Christians' knowledge and humor are things i cherish in our life-long friendship.

Charles "Chuck" Edmonds

Groomsman

Charles and I actually met before I even met Katherine. I was his basketball coach at Upper Lake High School. He approved of me to his sister when we started dating and the rest is history. Charles is a brother to me and I am excited to spend more holidays together laughing and celebrating.

Tommy Arellano

Groomsman

Tommy has always been more than a cousin but also a best friend. From playing football and basketball in our front yards or driving remote controlled cars, we have always been close and share many memories. He is a great person. I am proud to call him family.
