The wedding festivities kick off on Thursday night so we recommend arriving by mid-afternoon on Thursday, however, we will be in Cabo earlier in the week so feel free to join us!
Kids are welcome to come for the weekend and The Cape is a kid friendly hotel. However, we've decided that the wedding events will be adults only. We'll be looking into childcare options and will share more details soon.
As much as we would love to have you join us at The Cape, we understand that you may prefer to stay elsewhere. The Hyatt Vacation Club at Sirena del Mar is another hotel option we'd recommend and is very close to The Cape (~5 min drive). There is also the Grand Fiesta Americana (~12-15 min drive) which is a kid-friendly, all-inclusive resort. However, there are many other resorts in Cabo if these options do not work for you.
Cabo has a desert climate. In June, you can expect dry, sunny weather with temperatures in the mid 80s to low 90s during the day and low to mid 70s at night. The sun can be intense, so pack some sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses!
Yes, we will provide transportation to/from the welcome event on Thursday 6/19 and the sunset cruise on Saturday 6/21. Pick up and drop off will be from The Cape. To get around the Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo area, we recommend taxi or Uber.
For those wishing to keep the party going, the Sunken Bar at The Cape is open until 12:00 AM and The Rooftop at The Cape is open until 1:00 AM.
In our personal experience, yes. Cabo is a beautiful resort city and crime involving tourists is rare. This being said, exercise the same caution you would in any city and we hope you'll feel entirely at ease during your stay.
Los Cabos refers to the two major tourist towns of Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, which are 35 kilometers (~40 minutes) from one another. Cabo San Lucas is more of a party destination with a vibrant nightlife, frequently hosting tourists from incoming cruise ships. The Cape is about a 10 minute drive to Cabo San Lucas. San José del Cabo is a bit quieter with traditional Mexican charm. Both towns are great, just different!
