Our journey first started the spring semester of 2013 at Tuskegee University. Back when Instagram was new and fresh, there were many fun games we played, such as rating each other. Michael slid in my DMs, and the rest was history. We spent our time together walking around campus, studying for exams, and enjoying each other company with conversations and laughter. Years later in Maui, Hawaii, during a private dinner with a beautiful view of the sun setting, He proposed and I said YES!
