We're getting Married!

Michael and Kaleigh’s love story began in February 2018 when they connected online. It was during a seemingly ordinary evening that indeed would change their lives forever. Michael was born and raised in Chicago and lived there at this time. He was visiting St. Louis as a coach for his mother’s volleyball club. They were attending the Presidents’ Day volleyball tournament. Kaleigh was born and raised in Saint Louis and attended Principia College in Elsah, Illinois at the time. She was hanging out in her dorm room that evening. Their connection was instant and electric. Despite the realization that they’d be taking on a long-distance relationship, their hearts were in sync, and they couldn’t stop talking to each other. Their first in-person encounter happened over Easter weekend, which coincided with her school's spring formal. Both were filled to the brim with anticipation as they finally got to meet face to face. Their connection was even stronger than it had been online. Their first technical “date” turned into a whirlwind weekend filled with laughter, meeting family and friends, 18+ hours of driving, and even a surprise snowstorm. Kaleigh introduced Michael to her mom and best friends. Then, Michael invited Kaleigh back to Chicago to meet his family and friends too. By the end of that weekend, they both knew they had survived one of the craziest and most memorable first dates ever, cementing the feeling that they could handle anything together. Over time, their love story unfolded across states—first long-distance, then together in Kentucky, and finally back to St. Louis, where they started building their life together. Meanwhile, Michael’s parents settled on a stunning property in Farmington, Missouri, a place that quickly became special to them both. Now, they’re thrilled to celebrate their wedding on that very property, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. It’s the perfect setting to mark the next chapter of their incredible journey, and can’t wait to celebrate the night away with all of you.
