Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who will support us on the big day!

Eric Murphy

Co-Best Man

Eric was so thrilled to have a younger brother when Mike was born, until Mike started taking all the attention. They eventually made it work and the highlight of their twenties was a trip to Halong Bay in Vietnam, after the two of them watched it on a Top Gear special. Eric loves horsepower, rare steak, and more horsepower. Ask him about any of his Mustangs, his Ducati, or his Camaro ZL1.

Abbey Nicholson

Maid of Honor

Textbook definition of sisters who are best friends. No, they are not twins, but they like to pretend! Especially when their sister telepathy results in accidental matching outfits. Their bond is stronger than their love of music festivals, trashy tv, and Moscow mules

Keith Olmack

Co-Best Man

Neighbors and friends since birth, Mike and KO were always hard to separate. They've teamed up or faced off in baseball, golf, capture the flag, Dance Dance Revolution, Catan, and any number of made-up games in their almost 30 years together. Annual Kings Island trips with their families fed their shared sense of adventure, and while Mike never rode roller coasters growing up, he agreed to get thrown off a mountain in New Zealand as long as Keith was with him. Ask Keith about his vinyl collection or his own wedding, which is the week after ours!

Michelle Ross

Bridesmaid

Teacher besties from day 1 of their careers. Catch them wasting time in their classrooms, getting drinks and nachos at Cityside, double fisting vodka crans at Noah Kahan concerts, and lounging by the Lifetime pool on summer vacay

Luke Van Houten

Groomsman

All Luke needed to see eleven years ago was Mike throw the tightest spiral this side of Matt Stafford, and the rest was history. He has never turned down an opportunity for an adventure and has the right amount of Californian energy to keep Mike young - most of the time. Ask him how Mike lost his tooth and how he could possibly be from San Diego but think Boston makes the best burrito.

Jenie Rowland

Bridesmaid

Dancing with BC On Tap introduced them, but so much more has kept them friends. And when Jenie moved to DC for a nursing job, not even long distance could keep them apart! These days they can be found catching up over FaceTime, brunching in each other's cities, and commiserating about their jobs as public servants!

Matt Westhoff

Groomsman

The two guys who always crossed paths but never spoke until senior year at BC, Matt quickly fell in love with Mike's timely 007 quotes and impeccable logistics and trip planning. From Bangkok to Oktoberfest, they've been everywhere together. Ask him about Fusion Frenzy and how much he loves being a lawyer.

Dana Hopkins

Bridesmaid

The best college roommate a girl could ask for! Dane and Jules bonded over some of their favorite things like Scooby gummy snacks and being sloths as well as teaching each other about so many new things like scallion pancakes, buffalo chicken dip, and Gilmore Girls!

Brian Rogers

Groomsman

Brian and Mike were a modern-day success story of BC's roommate roulette. Mike walked so his wife, Kate, could run...away from the George Foreman grill. Back in Boston after completing his MBA at Cornell (ever heard of it?), be sure to ask Brian for the fun fact of the day.

Kate Rogers

Bridesmaid

Top tier fan of Mike and Julia since day one, Julia has been lucky to gain Kate as a post-grad friend through Mike's connection to her since their early days as members of BC's feared intramural team "The Belgian Wiffles"! She is loved for her wedding planning enthusiasm, her welcoming personality, her gorgeous charcuterie boards, and for teaching us which is our bread and which is our drink at receptions!

Eric Kelly

Groomsman

Before Eric's brave service in the Air Force, these two put each other through driver's training. Michigan drivers are grateful that since then, Eric has finally learned his left from his right. While Mike can no longer eat raw cookie dough at his parents' house, Eric and Mike now pass the time wondering when the Red Wings will finally return to glory. Ask him about the day I got my driver's license.

Greyson Kelly

Ring Bearer

The smiliest, cutest future mini sticks player there ever was to be a ring bearer! Ask him and his parents about how Greyson taught Mike the difference between what it means when babies can support their own heads versus when they can support their entire upper bodies.
