From the brides perspective: We attended the same high school. He promised to take me to sprinkles, a cupcake shop, and initially I didn't believe he meant it. The next weekend he picked me up in that pretty red car of his and drove me to sprinkles and bought me a cupcake. Instantly this man became my best friend. More importantly, he would always have my back for the next few years; someone I could call on whether I'm stuck on a metro bus somewhere in first ward with 1 percent of phone battery, or when I just needed a place to hide in peace from the world. From the groom's perspective: She was too beautiful for me to not have her attention. In class she was always the smartest person in the room. When I would attempt to sit next to her or even share a conversation, I knew she wouldn’t take me seriously. If anything she seen me as another boy trying to cheat off her paper. I refused to leave her alone though. Jojo eventually gave me a chance to take her out. I wasn’t gonna blow the opportunity for the world. I made sure I had enough lunch money saved up to treat her to anything she wanted. We ended up going to a desert shop where I’d promise to take her. After that moment the rest is history. We’ve been best friends ever since.
From the brides perspective: December 17th before I went back to College Station for work, Pitt (what I call him), told me we were going for a ride. Dreadfully tired I fell asleep in the car. He parked at the galleria and told me we were going for a walk. It was a cold, cold night - and I absolutely don't like being cold. We walked to the water wall, where not only was I cold and tired, I was getting wet! Then I felt him get behind me and crouch. My initial thought waas - I know he can't really be using me as a human shelter from the water - I turned around about to say something, and there he was. One knee on the wet ground with a ring in his hand ... and here we are!
