Question

Where do we park?

Answer

Please park in the Lowry Woods parking lot (1600 Oakland St Denton, TX 76204). There is not a fee for visitors to park on campus during the weekend.

What time should we be there?

Answer

Please arrive in the gardens between 2:00pm and 2:15pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:15pm. We have limited time in this space and want to be sure we start on time.

Are the ceremony and reception locations at the same place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are located on the Texas Woman's University campus in Denton, TX. The ceremony will be in the University Gardens just behind the greenhouse and lily pad pond. When you park, you can follow the sidewalk to the gardens to your left when facing the university from the parking lot. Following the ceremony, you will walk across campus to Hubbard Hall. Hubbard Hall is located closer to where you will be parked. You will be guided to the reception hall by ushers. Transportation will be provided for those with physical challenges.

Will there be food provided?

Answer

There will be a charcuterie spread, hors d'oeuvres, and cake served at the reception. Water and tea will also be available. (Alcohol and smoking are not allowed on the property per university policy.)

What should I wear?

Answer

Wear something nice and comfortable. The ceremony will be outside in the garden. We recommend skipping the heels for this event as the ground can be quite soft in places.
