April ContrerasApril Contreras

Maid of Honor

“Hi everyone! I’m April — Maid of Honor, proud best friend of Jessica, and former life-of-the-party turned professional toddler negotiator. Jessica and I met back in nursing school, a magical time when I was constantly exhausted but somehow still had the energy to pour shots and rally with friends. Fast forward to today, I’m a mom — even more tired, way less alcohol, and just trying to survive the chaos of toddlerhood with my dignity (mostly) intact. Bring on the love, laughter, and happily ever after- can’t wait to celebrate Jessica and Michael with you all”

Maria GonzalezMaria Gonzalez

Bridesmaid

"Hi I’m Maria! I’m one of Jessica’s bridesmaids and one of her besties. If you don’t recognize my face, you probably recognize my laugh and smile… or the tequila shots I never say no to. Now, I’ve recently entered the new mom chapter of life, where party nights fade into diaper duty but the laughs and smiles still keep going strong! I actually met Jessica through April and Ricky (aka my man), since they all went to nursing school together. My very first impression of her was: “Does this girl ever smile or laugh ?!?” Little did I know she does! Underneath that calm exterior is one of the funniest, most down-to-party, caring, and loving Valley girls I’ve ever met. From wild party nights and unforgettable San Diego trips to an amazing trip to Thailand, I’ve been lucky enough to witness Jessica’s journey, how much she’s grown as a woman and how deeply she’s fallen in love with Michael. Over the years, I’ve seen the love, respect they share, and it’s been beautiful. I honestly can’t wait to see them officially become husband and wife! I’m beyond honored to stand by their side on this special day. Let’s celebrate love, laughter, and of course tequila!"

Megan BuchholzMegan Buchholz

Bridesmaid

"My name is Megan and I was Jessica’s first true love. Yes you read that right, she loved someone else before Michael ever showed up. Me. I met her in middle school and to be honest I thought she was kind of annoying and it’s 20 years later now and I still feel the same way. So it makes perfect sense that we got matching tattoos on our feet. We lived together for a while where she became the second mother to my two dogs and my cat (which she is highly allergic to but somehow was never allergic to when we lived together???) From volunteering with elephants and getting attacked by monkeys in Thailand to getting eaten alive by mosquitoes and being adopted by a random woman on the side of the road in Hawaii, we’ve really lived 10 lifetimes together. I remember when Michael came into the picture and I was prepared to go to war for my Tajin Queen if he ever messed with her but not only did he turn out to be the nicest man ever, it turned out that he was exactly who she was always meant to be with and I genuinely couldn’t be happier for both of them! I can’t wait to watch them become husband and wife!"

Maranda MarroquinMaranda Marroquin

Bridesmaid

"Hi! I’m Maranda FAVORITE Sister of the Groom & Resident Sassmaster! I’m a proud mama to a wild little 3-nager, book hoarder, and cocktail enthusiast (as long as I’m home in pajamas by 9:59 PM). I fully embrace my grandma vibe, tea and a heating blanket optional, Taco Bell required. I first met Jessica through my brother, Michael. She came into his life like a knight in glittering armor, while he stood around like a confused frog waiting for a kiss that might turn him into a prince. Spoiler: she kissed him, and now we’re here! Over the past few years, I’ve had the joy of getting to know Jessica better, and let me just say she’s as fiery as the spicy margaritas she drinks. And clearly, she has a thing for spice, because have you seen my brother’s dance moves? Together, they’re the perfect blend of sugar, sass, and everything in between. I couldn’t be more excited (or mildly stressed) to be a part of this fabulous love fest."

Rebecca VillarealRebecca Villareal

Bridesmaid

"Hi, I’m Rebecca. Oldest sibling. Full-time mom. Part-time party animal. Professional sarcasm consultant. Let’s just get this out of the way. I’m the oldest, which obviously makes me the wisest, the most experienced, and, according to me (and probably some cousins), the favorite. I’ve perfected the art of the resting bitch face, and yes, it’s usually intentional. But here’s the thing. Once you get past the stone-cold glare and dry sarcasm, I’m actually a gem. A sarcastic, overprotective, brutally honest gem… but still a gem. As the big sister, it’s basically my job to keep everyone in line, especially Mikey. I’ve been telling him how it is since birth, and he’s lucky to have me. He won’t say that out loud, but he knows. I’m also a mom of two, which means I can pack a lunch, break up a sibling brawl, and still hit the dance floor. Though now it ends with an ice pack and a complaint about my back. I met Jessica a few years ago and from the start, I knew she wasn’t just another girl. She was exactly what Mikey needed. A knight in glittering armor who could match his energy, keep up with his antics, and call him out just as fiercely as I do. I saw her sass and immediately thought, “Okay, she can stay.” So here I am. Keeping it real, sipping something strong, and quietly running this whole operation. You’re welcome."

Alexis GallarzoAlexis Gallarzo

Bridesmaid

"Hi my name is Alexis but I also go by Alex or Lex! I'm the youngest of the core four, and I’ll settle this argument now… I’m actually Mikey’s FAVORITE sister! I live in SD majority of the time as I'm working towards getting my bachelors at the University of Sa (I know I know, small flex but living in SD has become my whole personality so let a girl live!) I am the backbone of our family, and the family therapist. (I took AP Psych in highschool so trust me when I say the answer is always, your childhood trauma….KIDDING, not really though) My brother will agree that I'm his biggest supporter and LOUDEST cheerleader! Like Becca, I'm the most judgey person you will ever meet and I could not like your “vibe” by the way you pick up your fork so beware! With that said, TRUST me when I say that I’m probably the only person who analyzed Jess for the longest time lol. And with full confidence I can let everyone know I approve :) It has been a pleasure welcoming Jess into our family. I have never been more proud of my brother than when he brought her home. I believe my exact words to him were “Finally you brought me someone with spice” But seriously Jess is as spicey and beautiful as you’d expect! I have loved getting to know her and creating a bond that’s so genuine and special! She truly has been my brothers missing piece and he has become such an incredible man because of her, so for that I could never thank her enough! Let’s party it up and celebrate two of my favorite people!"

Steven RochaSteven Rocha

Best Man

"Hey everyone, my name’s Steven. I’ve known Mikee—aka Leppy Lep, Lepperoni—since we were just kids. He was probably one of my first bad influences, and I say that with all the love in the world. We definitely had a blast causing chaos around town, giving the citizens of Ontario a run for their money. But even though we’ve grown up, deep down, we’re still those same kids at heart. And through all the years, one thing’s never changed—Mikee has always been one of the most loyal and generous people I know. He’s the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back, his last bite of food, and honestly, I believe he’d even give his life for the people he loves. I think the world of my brother Mikee, and I couldn’t be more excited to see him take this next step in life with Jessica. I can’t wait to meet the beautiful family you’re building. Mikee, I love you, man. Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and maybe a little chaos—just the good kind this time."

Ricky BernalRicky Bernal

Groomsman

"Name’s Ricky Bernal. I’m Mikey’s long-lost twin, separated by time, genetics, and two matching bald-but-beautiful heads. Even though we met just over two years ago, it feels like I’ve known him since womb-life or at least since dial-up. Our bond is anything but soft. It’s built on sarcasm, brotherhood, and the kind of laughter that gets you side-eyed in quiet restaurants. When we’re together, it’s not just two guys hanging out, it’s a full-blown, unscripted comedy show. I love this guy to death. His heart’s always in the right place, somewhere between protecting his people and pulling off something mildly heroic. I’d take a bullet for him but let’s be honest, he’d probably dive in slow motion and catch it with his teeth. Now, about Jessica. We met in nursing school ten years ago. She seemed serious at first, but turned out to be one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I know. We survived too many late-night study sessions with April keeping us on track. Jess, you were the rock then, and now you’re Mikey’s. From Joshua Tree to Thailand, we’ve shared some wild adventures. Can’t wait to keep making memories with our growing families along for the ride. Wishing you both endless love for eternity."

Houston OyarbideHouston Oyarbide

Groomsman

"Hello there! My name is Houston Oyarbide Jessica's brother, Augies uncle and soon to be Michaels favorite brother in law. What can I say about this strange man that came into my life. I can say his nickname is the bald eagle and he has a bottomless stomach that I don’t where it all goes. But all in all there isn't any man I would rather have to be standing next to my sister in this life or the next. He is the most caring human being I have met and glad hes part of the family. Cheers to an unforgettable day!"

Adrian GarciaAdrian Garcia

Groomsman

"Names Garcia. I’ve known the groom since he had hair on his head, as a child. Seen him grow and mature, into the bald, manly man he is today. Served the country in the line of duty out of passion. Young, dumb, and full of brotherly ambition, we feed off each other’s energy. Came back from the service, and we convinced each other to get a matching ;) tattoo. It’s a lifelong family statement that will never be washed away. See y’all on the dance floor!"

Eddie MarroquinEddie Marroquin

Groomsman

"Over the last nine years, it’s been one wild and memorable adventure getting to know you. I still laugh thinking about the first time I picked your sister up for a date and there you were, shirtless and running and flexing like a proud bodybuilder just to size me up. But from that moment on, you’ve shown me nothing but love and loyalty. I’ll never forget the night Maranda was in the hospital waiting on Aria’s arrival and you left a heartfelt letter and a Cowboys pin on the bed for me, just to make sure I felt welcomed and at home. That simple gesture meant more to me than you’ll ever know. From your passion for country music to our Vegas adventures, there’s truly no one else I’d rather drink whiskey with while singing Morgan Wallen at the top of our lungs. Your Indian-man accent voicemails and endless flexing mirror selfies (which I know Jess has an entire archive of by now) always crack me up. I’m beyond happy that you found someone like Jess to finally settle your ass down, and I wish you both a future full of love, laughter, and a little less flexing… but just a little"

Angel TornezAngel Tornez

Groomsman

My name is Angel, I was told by mikey himself that he wanted little dark Mexican in his wedding. So here I am !! He found the spicy frijolito !! All I got to say, is thank you ! Thank you for letting me part for this historical wedding where you and Jess are always going to remember for the rest of your lives ! I been part of your life since 2016 that’s amazing haha. I think we need to take a car ride and a walk like how we use too when we lived right next to each other haha but this time let’s leave Adrian behind. Your words that you usually tell me: “If you ever need anything, I will be there”, I really appreciate it means a lot! We are family ❤️❤️ and can’t wait to be there for you on that special day ❤️❤️ btw I like your sense of humor haha."

Augie the BabyAugie the Baby

The baby, My parents pride and joy!

"Hi, my name is Augie!! I may not be a human baby, but don’t let that fool you — I’m the pride and joy of my parents, and trust me, I’m spoiled rotten! I get all the treats, all the snuggles, all the kisses, and more love than I ever thought possible. My journey with my family began when my grandma and parents rescued me from a Russian lady in Oceanside. Ever since that day, my life has been full of belly rubs, cozy naps, and unconditional love. But the best part? Watching my parents grow together. I’ve been by their side through every chapter — from quiet nights in, to big life changes, to the moment my mom said “I DO!” And now, I get to witness one of the most special days of all: their weddingI hope you enjoy this celebration as much as I will. Who knows? If you keep an eye out, you might even catch me making a special appearance. After all, no family event is complete without me! Here's to LOVE, LAUGHTER, AND LOTS OF TREATS!"
