Mike and I met online through a dating app, yes a dating app. Now it is the new normal, but six years ago I felt like it was a little weird to tell people that. After our first date I knew there was something special about Mike. I felt like we were almost like old friends or something. It was like our souls already knew each other. And now we are going to get married!!!

Jessica and Mike were meeting their friends Maria and Rabbit at the Movie theater in Middletown. Jessica was a little suspicious because she knew this was where they had their first date and they have been talking about getting engaged/married and looked at some rings bout a year ago at this point. Anyways after the movie Jessica thought he would have popped the question right there, but nothing. She even texted her friend Cassie saying nope it didn't happen, false alarm. But then they all went to the crooked hammock after the movie for food, where Maria (Jessica's friend) fake proposed to her with a gummy ring, Surely making Mike even more nervous for what was going to happen. It was freezing outside, but somehow they got Jessica to go outside and stand by the fire/ checkout what the new brewery had outside. Jessica was complaining the whole time because it was winter time and she was not dressed to be outside, Mike was nervous, but finally got down on one knee and asked Jessica if she would spend the rest of her life with him. Jessica said yes! They then got in the car and went to go tell her Mother in person since she lives in Middletown. Once they walked inside it was all decorated and all of their closest family members started to pop out one by one to congratulate them on their engagement. Happy tears were shed, champagne was served in personalized flutes, and they enjoyed food from their favorite Mexican restaurant. It was one amazing day!
