Can I bring my children?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Unfortunately, our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

The Elora Mill website says sold out, how do I book?
Answer
Try calling the Elora Mill directly (519) 846-8464, their bookings have not yet opened for 2025 online. There are also many great options in the "travel" tab on this website.

What should I wear?
Answer
Formal attire. We suggest that men wear a suit in any color and women wear a cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and reception are indoors, but guests may need to walk a short distance between the two locations (there are support vehicles for those with mobility issues.) There will be a rooftop lounge which is outdoors as well.

What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby. Guests can head straight to the reception hall across the footbridge, where we will be serving finger foods and beverages during a cocktail hour.

What time should I arrive?

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
Answer
Ceremony will commence at 3:00PM at the Elora Mill Foundry (24 Carlton Place, Elora) followed by a Reception at the Granary, Elora Mill Hotel & Spa (77 W Mill St, Elora). Please arrive in advance of 3:00PM to allow time for parking and seating. Vehicles can be left at the Elora Mill Foundry overnight if needed.

I just received a Save the Date email, what do I do with it?
Answer
You don't need to do anything with your Save the Date. It's just to give you advanced notice of the date, location and venue for your planning purposes. Closer to the date of the wedding we will send out formal invitations to which you may RSVP.

Do you have a Registry for gifts?
Answer
The most important gift is having you share our day. But if you wish to contribute in some other way, we would love to have a few pennies to put in our pot, for our honeymoon after tying the knot. However, if you would prefer to give a gift our registry is listed under the tab "Registry"
