Train
If you prefer the Metro and not an Uber here are some tips about the Metro station: The metro has 16 lines (from number 1 to 14 and than 3bis and 7bis) and it runs from 5:40am to 12:40am (extending to 1:40am on Friday/Saturday night), covering most of the tourists needs... You can download the pdf file of the Network on the Paris By Train website and keep it on your mobile, very useful of course. And now a great tip: if you can try to stay close to a station with at least 2 crossing lines. This will make your travels much easier and quicker! You can buy a ticket at any station. It costs 1.90Euro and it will allow to have one ride, doesn’t matter where or the distance (even if you change lines). If in Paris for a few days it may convenient to buy a 10-tickets “carnet” for 14.90Euros.

The sleekly designed, four-star OKKO Hotels Paris Rueil-Malmaison is located near Château de Malmaison, and is a short 20-minute RER ride from the main tourist hotspots of Paris. What sets OKKO Hotels Paris Rueil-Malmaison apart from other budget hotels in the city is its spacious sun terrace, which offers fantastic views and, in the warmer months, is the perfect place to soak up some rays. The hotel is a little further out than some other options on this list, but that helps keep the costs down and its amenities, such as a sauna and fitness centre, make it a popular choice.
Hotel
Located near the trendy Champs-Élysées boulevard, Hôtel Boris V by Happyculture is a chic but cheap four-star boutique hotel housed inside a Haussmann-style building. This hotel is a good option if you’d like to get a taste of Parisian elegance without breaking the bank. There’s a quirkiness to the decor, with decorative antique objects dotted around the retro interiors of the communal lounge area, as well as black-and-white portraits and an old grand piano with trumpets stacked on top, while the bedrooms are furnished with tartan walls and headboards.
Hotel
The cozy Hotel de la Mare guest house was refurbished in 2012, and is located in the trendy 20th arrondissement of Paris, not far from popular music venue La Bellevilloise. Some rooms have a somewhat rustic touch, with exposed stone walls and arches, while others are spruced up with vibrant shades of yellow and red. The highlight of this hotel is the well-equipped kitchenette that you can use to cook your own meals!
Hotel
Hôtel Victoria Paris occupies a prime spot in the historic quarter of Montmartre, no more than a 15-minute walk away from the Sacré-Coeur and Gare du Nord station. The small, no-fuss two-star hotel has 103 charming guest rooms, the walls of which are each decorated with a different Parisian cityscape, and some have balconies. There’s a quiet interior courtyard too, and it’s rare to find such a classy hotel in this popular area at such a low price.

Le Marais, one of my favorite neighborhood of Paris, walk down an unassuming road that feels like an alleyway (called Rue des Gravilliers) and you’ll discover Hotel Jules & Jim. When you walk in, it feels like an art gallery–this hotel loves art! Local photographers and art exhibitions are featured here which gives the hotel a fashionable, swanky feel. There are only 23 rooms and provide soundproof walls, Molton Brown products and the most amazing waterfall shower. The bar is their highlight–a fun open-spaced courtyard to have a drink or do it the french way with some smokes. Rooms start at $200. Pet fee 20€/day.
Hotel
This boutique hotel (45 rooms) is not your traditional Parisian hotel. It is sleek, sophisticated, minimal–very very modern. The service is top-notch and they offer a Grand Salon (sitting area with a grand piano), a delicious cafe Rejane and spa La Colline. Location is great, as it’s based on a busy avenue and the Palais Royal garden is not too far (less than 1/2 mile). There’s also the “japonais district” right behind the hotel with rows of udon, ramen, sushi spots. Rooms start at $400. Pets: Free
