We're Getting Married!

We met through Everett over a decade ago at Sidewalk Cafe during a "Sunday-Funday". We kept passing each other but it never went further than a "hey, how's it going?" until April 2021.....Jana invited Everett, along with other friends, to meet up at James River Cellars to hang out. Jana encouraged everyone to bring a friend or two and Michael was the lucky one Everett brought. Jana and Michael both felt a strong connection from the re-meeting and began dating in July 2021. On December 28, 2022, while Michael and Jana were on vacation exploring London and Paris, Michael (with the assistance of his sister Belinda) created the most romantic setting at Ting overlooking the London Bridge. After eating four courses, dessert was brought out. There was dry ice, and what appeared to be a chocolate bar, but much to Jana's delight, it was a unique ring box and Michael got down on one knee and said "Sweetheart, we've had a connection from the beginning and we both like adventures, so would you please go on the greatest adventure of your life and marry me?". Jana enthusiastically exclaimed "Yes, I will marry you!". But of course, Jana isn't the only one Michael will be marrying, he will also be adding her daughter, Wren, to the family. With that said, he and Jana took Wren to dinner on January 9, 2023, and he pulled out a special ring, just for Wren and asked if she wanted to get married with, he and Jana in 2 years. She squealed "Yes!", and then asked the question, why is Mommy's ring bigger than mine? Over the course of their engagement, Jana and Wren moved in with Michael in the summer of 2023, and have been enjoying getting into a new rhythm of having a new family dynamic. Michael and Jana very much are looking forward to celebrating their love and their special day with family and friends!
