We have SO many memories together from sleep overs as kids, taking classes together in school and getting drunk together as adults (legally of course). But one my absolute favorite things to remember is having lunch with Jamie in middle school and reading her stories. Jamie would write the most interesting stories with characters I were obsessed with and she’d share those chapters with me. We would get lost talking about her characters and storylines. Sometimes she’d draw pictures of how she imagined the characters and share them with the table and I was always so in awe of her talent and creativity. I’m so grateful to have all the memories I have with her :)

I have no idea why she let us do it considering we were literally just hitting one another with loaves of bread. Nonetheless, Jamie did not hold back one bit; it was truly incredible to watch.

I enjoyed it not just because I got to spend time with my friends, but because I got to see once again how much Michael and Jamie love and care for each other.

I remember while we were relaxing by the waters, we were talking about our futures. 1. Slytherin 2. Hot Chocolate 3. There's this picture from years ago of us at Hershey Park with the Math Club—I’m pretty sure Michael was the President back then. I can’t even remember what we were talking about, but in the photo, I’m laughing so hard I’m in tears. It’s like I can hear Michael’s wonderful laugh through the image, probably right after he said something quietly out of pocket. That’s how most of my memories with Michael are—him saying something so quietly hilarious that only you catch it, and next thing you know, you’re laughing so hard you can’t breathe. He really is the perfect mix of joy and dark humor!
