Julian and Jalisa have such an inseparable relationship with one another! Jalisa was her father's one and only baby girl and he treated her as so. He spoiled her from the moment she was born to the day he left the earth. After Jalisa got engaged it took her some time to realize she wouldn't have her Dad walk her down the aisle or share a special moment with a Father/Daughter Dance. Moments like these are tough, but Jalisa's Father would want her to be happy and she knows he is in her heart every single day. Jalisa shares with everyone the story of her and Michael meeting on May 19, 2016. This was just 5 days short of the 1 year anniversary of her Father's passing. Jalisa believes that in her heart, her Dad knew she was ready to open her heart to Michael.

Jalisa and her Mom have always been the best of friends ever since she can remember! The two love spending time together, with family and shopping! When Jalisa's Dad passed away, her mom has been nothing but supportive and loving to her, especially with the planning of her wedding! Jalisa and Michael absolutely love her mom and Michael is so excited to gain a Mother-in-law!

Before Alanna and Jalisa were evening born, their families knew each other! Alanna’s older siblings and Jalisa’s aunts and uncles went to school together! It was only fitting that when Alanna and Jalisa started school together their friendship grew! From talent shows every year, to dance performances all through out school together to now experiencing life with one another, you won’t find a better pair of ladies that not only consider themselves best friends, but sisters! The night Jalisa got engaged, she sent a picture to Alanna and right away the wedding planning started! On the day of Michael and Jalisa’s Engagement Party, Jalisa asked some of her cousins to distract Alanna so she could surprise her! The two cried, laughed and smiled! Alanna said YES and the rest is history!

Trista and Jalisa met Christmas 2016! Trista is married to Michael’s brother Adam and Jalisa’s future sister in law! Though the two have only known each other a short period of time, they connected instantly! The love of family, animals and children are just a few things Trista and Jalisa enjoy talking about! Jalisa is so excited to become a “Council” Bride!

Lisa and Jalisa have known each other for almost 8 years now! Lisa is Jalisa’s sister in law and married to her brother Julian Fragoso! Although Jalisa gave Lisa a hard time in the beginning, the two have grown together in their love of family and Julian. Lisa asked Jalisa to be her Bridesmaid and Jalisa was equally as thrilled to ask Lisa! It was Christmas Day 2018 and Jalisa and Michael surprised Lisa with a present under the tree that asked her to be part of their special day!

Vanessa and Jalisa went to elementary school together. The girls always hung out with one another and both families became inseparable. Vanessa has always been a huge support to Jalisa and continued even through life’s greatest events. Jalisa could not wait to ask Vanessa to be part of her special day!

Jasmine and Jalisa met in 6th grade at St. Elizabeth school in Dallas! The two met when Jalisa transferred schools and on the first day at St. Elizabeth wore uniform shorts while the rest of the girls in the class wore skirts. She felt awkward and left out until in walks in Miss Jasmine Webb wearing her school uniform shorts! Even though they were not friends instantly, it made Jalisa feel comfortable for her first day of school. The friendship started at the middle school dance at St. Elizabeth! Jalisa and Jasmine’s love for music, dance, and sports made the perfect match for a life long friendship!

Breanna is one of Jalisa's cousin's. Her and Jalisa grew up together playing dolls, barbies and engaged in some slight competition as youngsters. Breanna and Jalisa bond only grew stronger as years went on. Jalisa is so excited to have Breanna and her daughter Charley join in the big day with her.

Bianca is Jalisa's cousin. Bianca and Jalisa grew up together with the rest of their cousins. Bianca and Jalisa now share more of bond now that the two are older. Jalisa can still remember the day of Bianca's quinceanera and helping with preparation for her birthday. Jalisa is so excited to have Bianca stand by her and support her on her big day!

Rebecca is Jalisa's cousin. The two are exactly two years apart and share their birthday's together. Rebecca and Jalisa grew up together having birthday parties with one another, matching outfits and ruling the cousin hierarchy...lol. The two grew up in the same schooled and shared many years of carpooling. Nothing would make this day any better that to have Rebecca stand by her side as she marries the man of her dreams.

Dalia Esparza

Dalia and Jalisa have been great friends ever since both of their Dad's met. Dalia's Dad, Paul, and Jalisa's Dad, Julian, knew each other long before Dalia and Jalisa were born. The two have comforted one another during difficult times in their lives and even were roommates in college at the University of North Texas. Dalia is a professional photography that has photographed numerous milestones for Jalisa including high school graduation, engagement pictures and family pictures. This day wouldn't be complete without Dalia standing by her side and Jalisa says "I do!"

LaTrice Umeh

LaTrice was on of Michael's first friend at the University of North Texas. The two met in one of the Rehabilitation Studies courses. LaTrice and Michael have been friends since meeting and when Michael told LaTrice about Jalisa she was so excited to meet her. The three got together at LaTrice's house and Jalisa and LaTrice 'girl-talked' the whole night! Since LaTrice has become part of Michael and Jalisa's family, Jalisa knew she had to ask her to be a bridesmaid!

Jalisa and Ellise are cousin's. Jalisa still remember when she was 10 years old and getting to hold Ellise for the first time at the hospital. Jalisa and Ellise were very similar according to their family! Jalisa was the sponsor for Ellise's crown for her quinceanera and couldn't imagine getting married without Ellise by her side!

Jalisa and Jenna are cousin's. Jalisa and Jenna had similar features with their light skin, brown hair and crystal blue eyes. Jalisa baby sat Jenna for her Tia Judy when she was younger and remembers all the fun memories they had together. Jalisa is excited Jenna can be part of this day as a bridesmaid.

Jalisa, Nati and Kerrie go every year together to pick out an Easter Dress and have a girls day! Nati's mom, Tia Jema is Jalisa's confirmation sponsor. Jalisa was so excited to ask Nati to be a Bridesmaid!
