We met way back in 2002 at a mutual friend’s birthday party. We instantly hit it off and became friends. We tried dating around 2004 but it just wasn’t the right timing so we both eventually moved on with our lives. In March 2021, a “DM” changed everything and during our “first date” the second time around every old emotion came flooding back. We just knew we wanted to try this thing called love once more. Our love story is the perfect example of how God will allow love to spin the block in His timing. We’ve been cruising together ever since.

We were running pretty late for our reservations at Seasons 52 (our favorite restaurant). I thought it was just a random night out until Mike calls the kids downstairs and then gets on one knee. Now I’m jumping up in down in pure excitement and disbelief screaming yes and the kids are trying to pick their mouths up off the ground! We scurried out the door to get to dinner. Such a simple but meaningful moment changed our lives. And what was just a random night out at our favorite restaurant was now a celebration of our engagement!
