We're getting married!

We met at a Sigma Nu fraternity party our very first weekend at Washington State University (very romantic). Hannah asked Michael why he was standing by himself, and he responded, "I don't know how to talk to girls". After a lot of persistence from Hannah, Michael gave in, and the rest is history.

Michael planned a "graduation" trip to the Outer Banks in May of 2025, but was really planning a proposal for the four months prior to the trip. On the second day of our vacation, Michael wanted to go to a cape that was over an hour away from our Airbnb to see a lighthouse, when in reality, his sister, brother-in-law, and best friend were all traveling to set up a surprise beach proposal. On our way back from the adventure, we stopped at Jeanette's Pier, where there was a proposal set up, and Michael got on one knee. Hannah had no idea! After a beautiful speech and she said yes, our favorite people surprised Hannah, who had been waiting to celebrate.

Our love language is quality time, so anything we can do together, we probably are. On a weekend, you can find us trying new restaurants, breweries, and ice cream shops, or going to church, on adventures, and spending time with friends and family. During the week, we enjoy making dinner together and debriefing our days, playing with our cats Millie and Milo, taking a post-dinner walk, and watching shows together. Together we love Harry Potter, card games (specifically cribbage and rummy), and attempting to out-serve each other every day. There is never a dull moment between us, and we feel blessed every single day to have a love that we had both prayed for.
