She said "Yes!" I think. It was so surreal I don't really even remember exactly what she said.

Six weeks into our relationship we're on a walk when we passed a home with chickens running around. Hannah looked at me and said, "if you catch me a chicken I'll marry you." This is the one I caught.

My friends Dina and Ryan, along with Hannah's sister Helen, helped stage where I proposed. The proposal took place at the "Little Park" in Granville. More formally known as the Fanchion Lewis Park.

I think she knew it was coming when she saw the chicken.

This is Ms. June. I drove down to North Carolina to pick her up two days before I proposed. Hannah was begging for a puppy, but I think I surprised her! June is an English Cream Golden Retriever.

She did a great job arriving on the scene at just the right moment!

This at least was love at first sight.

A new family is forming!

Hannah's sister Helen helped with the prep and is officially June's manager/babysitter/big sister!
