FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, unfortunately we are only able to accommodate those listed by name on the invitation. We made the difficult decision to invite only first cousins of the bride and groom due to headcount limitations. We hope that you are able to make other plans for your little ones for the weekend, and are excited to celebrate with you!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Welcome Party: Dressy Casual (elevated but relaxed): For ladies, think garden/cocktail dresses, sundresses, pantsuits, or nice skirts. For men, think slacks or chinos with a button-down or a polo - jackets optional. Event will be outdoors in the Gardens - ladies may want to consider a block heel, flat, or sandal instead of a stiletto. Wedding: Vineyard Formal: For Fall in North Georgia, we recommend the following: For ladies, think long and midi-length dresses or pantsuits. Florals and bright colors are welcome! For men, think suit and tie - no tuxes. Suits of both lighter and darker colors are appropriate. We’d love for everyone to look dressed up and celebratory, but comfort is key, and temperature can vary. We ask that guests kindly avoid denim and flannel, and that ladies avoid shades of white and cream. Bridesmaids will be in light blue dresses and groomsmen will be in black suits.

Question

I have a food allergy/religious dietary requirement - can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know ASAP - even if it's before your official RSVP has been submitted (but please include it there too!) - we will work with our caterers to address all dietary restrictions and allergies at all events. The earlier we are made aware, the sooner we can start to make those arrangements.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will have shuttle transportation provided from our hotel block (Fairfield Inn & Suites in Cornelia, GA) to and from the venue on the day of the wedding. We are unfortunately unable to offer shuttle service to and from AirBnBs / cabins, but there is ample parking available at the venue! Please be advised that Uber/Lyft is not a reliable form of transportation in this area, so plan carpools accordingly. Shuttle service from hotel to venue: Times TBA Return shuttle service from venue to hotel: two departures: one midway through dancing for those who would like to retire on the earlier side, and one after the Grand Exit (scheduled for 10:30pm)
