Cocktail attire. This means dress up nicely but don’t go crazy, unless you’d like to go crazy. The colors of the wedding will be pretty rustic, muted & neutral (it’s in a barn, after all) so if you’re looking to fit in, that’s the route to go.
I’m sorry but no children are invited to the wedding except for the flower girl & ring bearer. Grab a babysitter and have a fun night out! There’s an open bar…
Yes, there’s plenty of parking but be mindful that it is an unpaved dirt/pebble lot. Ladies, feel free to bring a change of shoes! There’s also a basketball hoop outside ;)
Yes. There are handicap parking spots and both the ceremony and reception are stair-free. However, the parking lot is unpaved dirt/pebbles so it might make maneuvering a bit difficult.
It’s both! The cocktail hour & ceremony space are outside (weather permitting) and then the reception is inside. If the weather is beautiful (fingers crossed, everyone!), guests can feel free to roam around outside during the reception, as well. There’s a patio with a fireplace as well as a basketball hoop!
I know this is why you came to the FAQ. Don’t you worry. Drinks are on us all night.
This is a LAST resort. If you plan on abusing that open bar, please book a room at the hotel we reserved a block in (see Hotel tab), park your car there, and take the shuttle over. We will be providing a shuttle service to take guests from the hotel to the wedding, and back to the hotel again after the reception. If you do end up needing to leave your car, you MUST let someone in the wedding (or a staff member) know so that we can inform the police. You also need to move the car early the next morning as there will be another wedding group coming to the venue. Have fun but be smart!
You will have to let Mike or Haley know ASAP of any allergies so we can pass the information along to our caterer.
