Kittatinny Valley State Park is a peaceful nature reserve featuring glacial lakes, former railroad corridors converted into multi‑use rail‑trails, and a butterfly & hummingbird garden near the visitor center. It is perfect for hiking or biking along the Paulinskill Valley Trail or Sussex Branch Trail (flat, scenic, great for all levels), canoeing & kayaking, tranquil fishing, birdwatching, or simply enjoying a nature walk in the garden.
