In a Dream

I am sure we met long ago in another lifetime because the feelings we have for each other are deep and long lasting. I vaguely remember him from a dream. Another life of love and happiness. Reincarnated beings designed to spend this special time together ... and that is all we have done since we met. Being there for one another. Loving one another. Helping each other through our own personal struggles and through it all continuing to love and support each other. Our heart is one heart ... Each day is gift. Each day is special. Each day is different but our love remains true. Life is good. We look forward to spending this special day with all our family and friends.

How We Met

Michael and I met when I was looking for a car. I saw him at the Ford dealership in Fort Frances. There were these four dudes standing outside pretending to work, but really they were just gabbing like little old ladies having tea. I walked towards them and was looking them over as I calculated who I was going to approach to sell me a car, but Mike stepped up. He shook my hand and said can I help you. (little did I know ... he would in so many ways). I test drove many cars, chatting it up with Michael. Asking him to look up this and look up that. I am sure I gave him a headache with all my requests, and still do today. He asked for my number ... to text me quotes and such (so cute). I gave it to him. We talked a few times about cars and trucks, and then moved on to uhaul dating. Then he asked me to come and visit, that was three years ago on October 7, 2014. I have never left and more importantly he has never let me go.

The Proposal

Christmas Evening 2016 Michael is a very thoughtful planner and likes to surprise Kennedy and I. Last Christmas Day at 11:45 pm, we were watching tv and relaxing from the days activities. Michael told me he had another present for me. I looked at him really surprised and said "where is it baby". He told me I had to look for it. So I was looking all over the living room, and on the end table I found a little white bag. I grabbed it, and walked over to where he was sitting. I said "oooh baby, what did you get me" ... He just smiled. I opened it up and it was a bottle of cleaner with a rag (a jewelry cleaner). I was surprised and said, "oh that is nice baby". There was nothing else with it. So I just thought ok, this is useful and left it at that. I kissed him and said "thank you honey". Mike said to me, "there is more baby" I said "ooooh, where is it" and he said "you have too look for it" So, I found it on a little shelf in the living room, it was a little box. I opened it and inside of the box was a diamond ring. He then said, "will you marry me?" and added "but I need you to do it the way I want to do it baby" ... Those that know me, know that it is hard to let go of control, especially over the wedding and its planning, but I said I would, and said yes I would marry him. Every detail in our wedding plan is at Mike's planning. We are blessed, as he not only takes care of me and Kennedy but all those as well who will share in this day with us.
