Let's Try This Again!

Erin: "When you know, you know. You know? We met at Cara's roller derby game back in January 2017. Fast forward five months and we had our first date at a hip hop dance class. Needless to say, Michael didn't fall in love with me for my dancing skills. I can't necessarily say the same! But seriously, Michael was so charismatic and easy to talk to. I have never met anyone like him. Throughout the years, I have heard so many people say that you'll know when the right person comes along. It's so true! It's difficult to put into words, but I know he is my person. Then there is his son, Mick - the sweetest, wittiest and kindest kid in all the world. He adds so much joy to our lives and I am honored that I get to be his mommy (used to be his 'Airey'). These two stole my heart and make me feel like the luckiest girl in the world!" Michael: "What can I say? I never stood a chance. Like a moth drawn to the flame. I was instantly smitten with Erin's natural good looks. I had to ask Erin out 6 times for that first date (she says 3) and had to beat her in a game of darts to earn it! Erin is the most caring person I have ever met. My worst days seem like nothing after talking to her. And she laughs at all my terrible jokes! We're a match made in heaven! Fast-forward 2.5 years later; terrified, I brought over Cousins Subs and asked Erin's parents, at their kitchen table, for Erin's hand in marriage- to which they said yes! Erin and I went on a vacation that week to Saint Pete's Beach in Florida. So nervous, I hadn't eaten in two days, the ring was getting heavier by the minute, and I sweated through 3 shirts the morning of- finally on a scenic hiking route I found 'the spot'. Pale-faced and with chapped lips, I got on one knee and asked her to be mine forever. After 5 years together, we can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
