Parking is very limited in the area, so we recommend walking (weather permitted), taking a rideshare (Uber, Lyft or cab), or public transportation.
3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
There is a 2 hour break between the ceremony and the cocktail hour. There are plenty of things to do in the area. Bars: There are plenty of bars nearby on Wells and Division St. Some of our favorites are Butch McGuire's on Division and Benchmark on Wells St. Zoo: The Lincoln Park Zoo is free and close to the History Museum. Parks: If the weather is nice, there are several parks in the area. Lincoln Park surrounds the History Museum and the zoo with plenty of great views of the city. The Goudy Park Playground is near the lake and a good place for little ones. It can be walked to or is a quick drive/ride in an Uber or Lyft. Walking Areas: There are several places to walk around with great views of the city and neighborhoods. Eugenie St is a quiet street with a view of St. Michael's Church and different homes. Rush St is nearby with lots of stores and restaurants to visit.
5:30 pm - 11:30 pm
Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
