FAQs

Question

Covid protocol

Answer

All guests will be required to be fully vaccinated. Masks are optional, however, if you are not fully vaccinated, please consider bringing a mask. There will be elderly and immunocompromised people attending the event and we would like them to be able to enjoy their experience.

Question

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

No. Outside alcohol will not be permitted in the Ali Center.

Question

Dress code?

Answer

We are expecting everyone to dress in cocktail/semi-formal attire. The event will take place during the evening. If you are unsure what to wear, please check out this helpful guide. https://www.thespruce.com/semi-formal-attire-guidelines-1216504

Question

I can't make the wedding, but want to support.

Answer

We really wish you could have made it, but we understand. If you would like to still support, please check the registry tab for more information.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend trying to arrive with at least 30-45 min to spare because Louisville is a big city and Downtown tends to get busy during the evenings on Friday.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We're working on getting a hotel block to make life easier for everyone. Be sure to check the Travel tab for more information. However, Louisville has plenty of wonderful hotels and AirBNBs to choose from.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

During the wedding ceremony, we ask that you do not take any photos/videos. However, during the reception......be our guest!! Make sure to use the hashtag #MarchingtoMarriage.

Question

Can I bring a date/ +1?

Answer

Unless explicitly stated on your invitation, no additional individuals will be allowed. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Unless you have been explicitly informed that your kids have been invited, this is an adults-only function. Please be sure to make appropriate accommodations before hand.
