Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Emily Cardiff and Michael Watt
Rossland has lots to do in June, so you won't be bored! Mountain biking: world class mountain biking in Rossland, Castlegar, Christina Lake and Nelson. Red Mountain Resort is opening a brand new lift access bike park in 2025. Hiking: Our favourite local hiking spots are the Centennial network just above town, the 100 acre wood old growth forest, a loop around Nancy Greene lake, Redtop, Mount Roberts, or an all day mission up to Old Glory. Trail Cinema if the weather's a bit iffy. Restaurants: Rossland has some great options but if you feel like a drive then Nelson has some really unique dining options. Pubs: The Josie, The Rockcut, The Flying Steamshovel, The Eagles, B&T's (our favourite), Rossland Beer Company Swimming Holes: Nancy Greene Lake, Slocan River at Crescent Valley, Christina Lake Go for a drive: There are some stunning drives around the area, from the Slocan Valley, Kootenay Pass, Nelson or Revelstoke. Shopping: Plenty of great shops between Rossland and Nelson.
