I noticed him in a crowded bar after a friend's wedding. He was sitting at the bar top conversing with a buddy. After a round of tequila shots, I sat next to him and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned to look at me, head cocked, and the first words this man ever said to me were, "Can I help you???" I was expecting some light flirtation, a drink or two, or even for him to blow me off and keep talking with his friend, never to be seen again. After talking (actually yelling against the music) I took his phone and added my number. The rest, as they say, is history.
