Mike and I enjoyed this authentic Anatolian restaurant for his birthday after taking a swim in the public Hampstead Heath ponds (which I also highly recommend during your summer visit) :)
Trendy Indian food that has many locations. Make sure you make a reservation in advance and highly recommend the brunch with bottomless chai!
Affordable yet super delicious pizza! Whenever we don't know what to eat this is where we go :) Locations dispersed around London
If you have children, I highly recommend taken them to the free museums of London. The Natural History Museum, the Science Musuem, and London Transport museum are very interactive and fun!
Beautiful botanical gardens where Mike and I visited for Christmas on the night of our engagement! Gorgeous anytime during the year, fun for children, and amazing during the summer months.
The London Parks during the summer are great for some sun and relaxing! The best ones, and easily accessible, are Hyde, Regent's and Greenwich Park.
If you love Harry Potter this is the place to go! You really feel like you are in the Harry Potter movies and get to experience how it was made, well worth the money!
If you love relaxing, eating scones and sipping tea then this is a must! Many locations have afternoon tea so find the one that works best for you. Fortnum and Mason is known for their tea, but can get quality tea anywhere in London.
We highly recommend checking out this famous castle which guards an important crossing, the River Medway. This fortress has a complex history of destruction and rebuilding and now stands as a proud reminder of the history of Rochester, along with the cathedral and cobbled streets. Fun fact - Its Norman tower-keep of Kentish ragstone was built about 1127 by William of Corbeil, Archbishop of Canterbury
Free, beautiful cathedral to walk around in the heart of Rochester. Mikey and I frequently visit the cathedral since it is so stunning!
Renowned for its diverse and high-quality food offerings.
