The Allman Brothers Band Museum at The Big House
Born a ramblin' man? Visit Macon's #1 tourist attraction, The Big House. Fun Fact: We are having our rehearsal dinner catered by H & H Soul Food, a restaurant owned by the lifelong friends of Gregg Allman and the band!
Amerson River Park
Looking for a fun way to spend the day? Amerson River Park is an amazing park to hike, sit by the river, or hang out at the playground. Just a few miles from the Holiday Inn North Macon, it is our favorite Saturday spot, including Athena. For some extra adventure, snag a tube or kayak and float from the top of the park to the bottom. Floats take about three hours!
Ocmulgee National Monument
The Ocmulgee Indian Mounds are a great place to spend the afternoon hiking, exploring, and learning more about Native American History. Also, IT IS FREE! Take lots of pictures for us! It is stunning!
Georgia Children's Museum
Got the little ones in tow? Downtown Macon has a neat museum for the kiddos to run, play, and learn something new! Check it out, and let us know what you think! We know our niece and nephews love it!

Ya'll this place is INCREDIBLE. Awesome beer, live music, wine slushes, twinkle lights, corn hole, ping pong, wine slushes, Ingleside Village Pizza next door, WINE SLUSHIES, swings at the bar, DOGS.
Just Tap'd Macon
This is Delaney's jam. With over 50 beers on tap and hundreds of bottles of wine, you simply cannot go wrong. Just snag a board game, some hummus, and a table inside or out! GO! GO! GO!

Want to snag a bite and a local brew? This place is in downtown Macon, one corner over from the wedding venue! Try the Fried Pork Skins and Muscogee Curse for us! Its one of our favs!

Looking for some local nightlife? This is a fun, always packed brewpub in Downtown Macon! They have TVs. tons of brews, and some authentic Macon burgers.

Too cold or rainy for outside activities? Right up the road from the Holiday Inn North Macon is a large bowling alley and arcade. You can also grab a snack there! Our flower girl recommends the popcorn!
