Michael Hanna

and

Debbie Endsley

March 1, 2026

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

We met in a coffee shop called Mademoiselle's....

7/29/23

We both thought at least we would get a nice conversation and breakfast out of our meeting, but three and a half hours later we got into our separate cars and couldn't believe that it was afternoon. We knew that something important had happened. A few months later, Debbie was headed on a previously planned trip to Europe and invited Michael to join her at the end of the trip in Rome. They had both been to Rome before, so none of the typical tourist visits were required. Vast amounts of time were spent talking at cafes over cappuccino, wandering down small streets to discover shops, restaurants and the local's haunts; and learning how to really use all those trains in Italy. Several months later, while sitting at the bar of the SandBar in Islamorada we got a dozen oysters. Debbie found a tiny seed pearl in one of the oysters and the bartender said "that never happens, these are food quality oysters".... but it wasn't done, there was a second pearl in the same oyster. We looked it up. Finding one pearl is about a 1 in 10,000 chance. Finding 2 in the same oyster is 1 in a million. We know that our relationship and marriage is the best 1 in a million find! On March 2, 2025 Michael treated Debbie to dinner at Sunset Monalisa in Cabo for her birthday. At dinner, he presented her with a package containing information about a private trip he was taking her on in Italy to see Andrea Bocelli at his personal theater, the Theater of Silence. It was an amazing trip that included a really big surprise. Michael kept disappearing to "check on the restaurant" upstairs in the Waldorf. La Pergola has a very special rooftop table that overlooks the city of Rome at night. Debbie assumed Michael was just "pressing" them to get the best table. Michael had actually arranged for the best table, and for staff to take pictures as he proposed marriage. Debbie said "yes" without any hesitation. Having both come from strong, loving and long marriages...it was hard to believe that love had found us again. But indeed, it had. As time went by, we both realized that this was something special and genuine.... the more time we spent together the more we knew it was right....and that we wanted to make a lifetime commitment and blend our families. Families and our friends have always played an important role in our individual stories and always will in our joined story. Our circle has just grown with incredible people who bring us so much joy and keep life very interesting. Our family cares for us and for our happiness. They see the joy and caring we have found in one another.... this wedding is the joining of two best friends, two wonderful families, and a large community of great friends.... and happiness forever.
