What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5:00 PM sharp! The ceremony will be located under the pavilion to the left of the clubhouse

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We will have buses transporting guests to and from the Omni hotel to the ceremony and reception. Note, all bus transportation to and from the golf course will be from the Omni Hotel. Refer to the Travel page for further detail and addresses. For anyone driving, there is plenty of parking Independence golf club!

What should I wear

Answer

Semi-formal or cocktail attire! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside (the ceremony under a pavilion) and the reception is located indoors.

Are children welcome?

While we love your littles ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I take pictures at the reception and post on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag # so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
