It all began at a college event in Washington, D.C., on August 15, 2009. The moment Michael saw Cornelia, he was captivated and knew he had to talk to her. Michael asked Cornelia out on the spot and to his surprise, she said yes. They built a strong friendship over the years, but on August 7, 2022, that friendship blossomed into something more. On November 9, 2024, surrounded by their closest friends and family in Granada Hills, Michael asked Cornelia to marry him, and she said yes!
