Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones - we really do! However, due to many factors, we have chosen for our wedding to be an adult only occasion with the exception of our immediate families. We hope you are still able to share our big day with us and enjoy an evening out!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to capacity restrictions, only those listed on your invitation will be able to attend. When RSVP'ing, if you were given a plus one, you should see your guest's name pop up, or a blank space to add their name.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel block at Deer Valley Lodge in Barneveld. Mention the Moen / Schlimgen wedding when you call to reserve your stay by September 14, 2023. Please note the room block rate is not available online, only by calling the Lodge.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is onsite parking at the venue.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love for you dress up with us on our big day. Formal dress is requested :)

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the reception?

Answer

Yes! We will have a shuttle that will transport to and from Deer Valley Lodge to Sugarland. If you plan to take advantage of the shuttle, please note the below pick up/drop off times. Signage will also be posted at the hotel. Between ceremony & reception: 5pm - departing Deer Valley Lodge approx. 5:30pm - arriving Sugarland After the reception: 10:00pm - departing Sugarland approx. 10:30pm - arriving Deer Valley Lodge 11:15pm - departing Sugarland approx. 11:45pm - arriving Deer Valley Lodge

Are you registered?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. Should you wish to help us celebrate with a gift, we would gladly accept contributions to our honeymoon fund on our big day.
