Our story began ten years ago at the University of Edinburgh in Mr. Gilmore’s Enterprise Computing class. Chelsea was studying abroad and out of the country for the first time ever, and Michael was just trying to survive his 3rd year of a Software Engineering degree. The two were assigned to the same semester long project. Contact between the two was minimal during this semester in Edinburgh. Only really consisting of a Tesco shopping trip where Michael made fun of Chelsea for buying skim milk, and some stressed messages from Chels apologizing for not being around to do her part of the project because she was traveling Europe. But in her defense she had made these plans ages ago and gave the team plenty of warning! This brings us to the summer. Michael had been deciding between San Diego and Boston for a summer internship. He says he chose Boston for professional reasons but we all know his heart led him to Boston for a special lady. Chelsea made the first move to meet up over that summer and they continued from there - the never ending summer fling as Michael likes to call it. After battling a tricky immigration system, Michael is now permanently in Boston with Chels and ready to tie the knot!
