In 2021, Michael was on a 2 month work trip in TX and we both matched on his last week. After a week of back and forth chatting, he flew back to SF where he was living at the time and we talked for a few months until he officially made his decision to move to TX. I couldn't miss my chance on getting a free tour guide in SF, so I hopped on a plane and ever since then we've became inseparable. If we haven't matched during his work trip, the chances of us encountering each other were very unlikely! We sat around one day and talked about our childhood trips. I had mentioned that I used to camp out in Carthage, MO for Marian Day and he said “me too!”. We were both shocked and found out that we both traveled in separately with our families annually, to the same place for years as kids attending the same annual pilgrimage. He traveled in from a 2-day road trip all the way from CA and for me it was just a 3 hr drive from AR. The chances of us crossing paths when we were kids without knowing were pretty high, but I’m so glad that swiping right in our adult years created a path to our forever. We'd like to think that our story is a invisible string theory. "The universe will keep two people apart until the timing is right. When you meet, there will be so many ‘coincidences’ in the timing. If one thing had fallen out of line, you would never have crossed paths. But the universe aligns, and you will realize that everything you went through before you met was just preparing your heart for them." Whatever it may be, here's to our greatest adventure together! - The Davises
