Welcome!

Thank you for visiting our wedding website! We are so excited to celebrate our special day with family and friends. This website contains wedding day details, accommodations, and much more. Check back for updates as we continue to plan our big day.

Love at First Sight

Our story begins in August of 2009 when we both were invited to the same party. Mike and I locked eyes and began to converse. We immediately hit it off. I was attracted to Mike’s sense of humor while Mike was intrigued by my down to earth personality. The more we learned of each other, the more interested we began to be of one another. Oddly enough, we did not exchange phone numbers that night. A few weeks go by when a mutual friend had seen Mike which prompted him to ask about me. I was flattered and I decided to get his number to ask him out on a date. Of course he said yes! Our first date was October 2nd, 2009 and we have been inseparable ever since.

About Us

Meeting at a young age has allowed us to grow as individuals and as a couple. When we first met, I was in college and Mike just got hired working for the Turnpike Authority. I later ended up working in real estate while Mike continued to establish himself as a state employee. We moved in to our first apartment in 2012 and purchased our first home in 2017. Our relationship has consisted of many outings of which one of us would not normally venture. We are very different from one another and have taught each other about our uncommon interests. I guess you can say we are the epitome of opposites attract. Our differences are what keeps our relationship interesting. We enjoy each other’s company and have created many memories together with the trips we have enjoyed. I am excited for the many more to come!

The Proposal

December 23, 2018

Shortly after our 9th anniversary, we decided to stay at the new Ocean casino. Mike and I enjoy going on frequent trips to Atlantic City so it did not seem out of the ordinary to have a little getaway before Christmas. Soon after we checked in and took 2 elevators and 5 escalators down to the casino, Mike pulled the old, “Oh no! I left my phone in the room!” He told me to go enjoy myself while he went all the way back to the room to get his phone. I was occupied with winning $200 on a slot machine while waiting so I totally did not catch on to what he was doing. We enjoyed our night and ended up back to our room. As I opened our room door I noticed that there were rose petals on our floor. I instantly became emotional when seeing the rose petals on the floor lead up to the bed spelling out, “Cassidy Will You Marry Me?” I looked over to see Mike on one knee with a gorgeous ring saying something so sweet to remind me how much he loves me. I was not so much shocked that he proposed but was taken back, because I was not expecting that he was going to propose that night. He reminded me that after all these years he still knows how to surprise me. Even though ten years have gone by, I honestly can say I grow more fond and more in love with Mike every day. I can not wait until the day I can finally call him my husband!
