Candace was born and raised in Marietta, GA. She attended the University of Alabama and moved to Mobile, Al after college where she met Michael in 2016. Candace loves to dance, sing and is a ball of energy who enjoys being spontaneous. She takes her Catholic faith seriously and is a loyal friend. She can't wait to celebrate the Holy Matrimony of marriage with Michael in front of friends and family on June 8!

Michael grew up in Mechanicsburg, PA and earned his doctorate of Pharmacy at Wilkes University. From there, Michael headed to Palmetto health in Columbia, SC for his first post-grad year. In 2013 he did a second post grad year at Oklahoma University to specialize in cardiology. His journey brought him to teach and work in Mobile, Al at Auburn University’s mobile campus. While in Alabama, Michael was named “Mobile’s Most Eligible Bachelor”. Michael is witty, creative, energetic and easy-going. He loves working on DIY projects. He’s very passionate about his work and is excited to begin a new chapter of life with his bride!
Mr. Kevin Murphy
Father of the Bride
Kevin Murphy was born and raised in Long Island, NY before moving to GA. He and Elizabeth lived in Marietta, GA where they raised three children before moving to Nashville, TN. Kevin and Candace love to talk football, listen to music and crack jokes together.
Mrs. Elizabeth Murphy
Mother of the Bride
Elizabeth Murphy was raised in Macon, GA. She raised three kids in Marietta, GA before she and Kevin moved to Nashville, TN. Elizabeth has a passion for learning and is very creative. Like mother like daughter rings true for Candace and Elizabeth. They not only look alike, but they act alike too.
Mr. Nick Scalese
Father of the Groom
Nick Scalese grew up in Taylor, PA and has been local to the mid-state since college. He was a salesmen by trade and was so good he could sell a ketchup Popsicle to a person in white gloves. He coached Michael in many sports growing up and continues to coach baseball and for the local high school.
Mrs. Carole Cleckner
Mother of the Groom
Miss Carole is originally from Reading, PA but has lived in multiple areas of central PA. She is very active in her church and enjoys serving others in any way that she can. Like a Shepard, she tends to her flocks of little ones and truly has the patience of a saint.
Mrs. Madalyn Murphy
Matron of Honor
Madalyn has taken care of Candace since she was born. When she was young, Madalyn would save Candace when she was scared and growing up, she continued to care for her. Now, Madalyn is still Candace's go-to person when she needs to talk something out always offering compassionate and loving advice. She will be standing next to Candace on her wedding day as her sister and friend.

As a whiskey sommelier and savant of fine dining, Bobby is just one smoking jacket away from being the most interesting man in the world. His texts may be rarer than sasquatch sightings, but his trivia knowledge is always fresh to death. Don’t let his GQ looks fool you, this guy is handling fatherhood like a pro.

Jamie and Candace met in second grade at their cubicles in Mrs. Powell's class at Garrison Mill Elementary School in Marietta, GA. The two friends grew up at each other's homes, danced together, participated in colorguard and have stayed best friends throughout the years. They say opposites attract and it's true for these two! They balance each other's personalities and help each other grow.

Rachel and Candace met at St. Francis Catholic Church at The University of Alabama. A few years later, the two reunited at a women's small group in Mobile, AL and instantaneously become friends! You can count on endless nights of laughter, cooking mishaps and lots of gym time. Candace and Rachel help each other grow in their Catholic faith and encourage honest conversations. Whatever they're doing together, the two of them are probably making it up as they go and enjoying the spontaneous moments in life!

Candace and Danielle met a women's small group in Mobile, Al. The two hit off with their fun-loving spontaneous spirits and have been friends ever since! Danielle is a creative fun-loving woman with a big heart which compliments Candace's excitable personality. The two share a love of Catholicism and have seen each other grow throughout their friendship. If you want to have fun, get excited about life and need some creativity, Danielle is your girl.

He May live the farthest away but grew up closest to home. Jackson is a cunning linguist and recent winner on the Wheel of Fortune. Currently he's a renowned chef and will probably not like the food at the reception.
Ms. Rebecca Powell
Bridesmaid
Rebecca and Candace met in December of 2017 when both were new to the Columbia area. The two became friends at a Christmas party and quickly formulated a close group of girlfriends. Rebecca is a pioneer in her sales career, is always up for a road trip and will make you feel beautiful inside and out. While in Columbia, Rebecca helped Candace pick out her engagement ring, wedding dress and helped plan her bachelorette party. Rebecca always has a listening ear and will make sure you have fun!
