On August 4, 2020, Mike and Burgundee were dancing, smiling and enjoying each other's company. The couples song came on and that was when Mike got down on one knee and asked the question, "Will you marry me?", and of course Burgundee said yes! Mike received the blessing from Burgundee's father Kevin, her mother Trudy, her brother Brenten, and her Nana Dorothy.
