The happy couple met via Bumble, he a humble animator and she a math instructor. Mike won Brook’s heart with kitten puns, and they met for a first date on July 5, 2019. And then a second date the next day. Many movies and video games and best-friend-introductions later, Mike met Brook’s two kiddos in January 2020. Both boys were immediately enamored with Mike thanks to their shared interests. Face time got replaced by Facetime in March of 2020, but the couple grew closer despite the distance. After much quarantining, during a face to face anniversary visit, Asher suggested Mike and Brook pretend to be married, and Mike asked if Brook might like to make that a reality. They currently plan to live happily ever after.
